Inter Miami has officially announced that their new stadium at Miami Freedom Park will be named Nu Stadium, following a multiyear partnership with the digital financial platform Nu. Set to open this April, the stadium promises to be a hub for both Major League Soccer matches and entertainment events, marking a major milestone for the club and its fans.
A Name for the New Stadium
After years of anticipation, Inter Miami has confirmed a sponsor for their long-awaited stadium. Described by the club as “one of the most ambitious sports and entertainment developments currently underway,” construction began in 2023. Originally slated to open at the start of 2026, the debut was slightly delayed but is now scheduled for April. Nu, a digital financial service, will not only have naming rights but also play a prominent role in enhancing the stadium experience for fans.

Jorge Mas Celebrates a Landmark Partnership
Part owner Jorge Mas praised the collaboration, emphasizing the shared vision between Inter Miami and Nu. “Inter Miami was built to set new standards and redefine what’s possible in fútbol,” Mas said. He added that Nu’s “disruptor mindset and global ambition” aligns perfectly with the club’s goals. Mas described Nu Stadium as a space where fans can feel inspired, connected, and part of something extraordinary, signaling the club’s commitment to excellence both on and off the pitch.

Nu’s involvement extends beyond naming rights. The company will feature on the back of Inter Miami’s jerseys and will be integrated into a “dynamic community hub” associated with the stadium. The partnership reflects the club’s broader vision to create a center that goes beyond soccer, offering fans a comprehensive sports and entertainment experience.
After starting their MLS campaign on the road, Inter Miami will host their first match at Nu Stadium on April 4, facing Eastern Conference rivals Austin FC. This home opener marks the beginning of a new era for the Herons, as they return to a stadium designed to inspire fans and elevate the club’s profile in both soccer and entertainment circles.
