Liverpool has confirmed that Ryan Gravenberch will remain a central figure in the team for years to come. The Dutch midfielder, who joined from Bayern Munich, has officially signed a long-term contract extension at Anfield. Since arriving at Liverpool in September 2023, Ryan Gravenberch has steadily transformed from a promising addition to an indispensable starter in the Reds' midfield. During his time in Merseyside, he has made 123 appearances and scored eight goals, contributing significantly to the club’s performances in the Premier League and cup competitions.
Although Liverpool has not publicly disclosed the full duration of the deal, reports from The Athletic indicate that Gravenberch is now tied to the club until the summer of 2032. His consistent performances under manager Arne Slot have cemented his place as a cornerstone of Liverpool’s long-term strategy.

Gravenberch described extending his stay at Anfield as an easy choice. Speaking to Liverpool’s official website, he said, “I feel really, really good. I was proud to extend my contract at such a big club. So, I’m really happy that I can stay for many more years.”
The midfielder highlighted the trust he received from both the club’s hierarchy and the manager as a decisive factor. “I felt directly the trust from the club, also from the manager. The decision for me was easy to make. My family is also happy here. We are now here almost three years, so I know everything already. I’m happy that I’m here.”

Looking forward, the Netherlands international remains ambitious. “For the short term, [my aim is to] end the season as good as possible. And for the long term: win many more trophies with Liverpool,” he explained.
The midfielder has also developed a strong connection with the Liverpool supporters. “I have a really nice relationship with [the fans],” Gravenberch noted. “Always when I do something good in the stadium I hear them singing my chant. I’m really grateful for the supporters because without them we would not be where we are now. In the future, we want to give them many more [trophies], so hopefully we can get that done.”
